And Spengler is ...
Asia Times Online ^ | Saturday April 18, 2009 | Spengler

Keep praying. The return of Christ and/or the arrival of the Jewish Messiah (which I believe are one and the same) may be our only hope, but never give up hope.

History informs us, and repeats parts of itself, but never all of itself.

How many times have I said to myself:"If I'd have only known?" I cant count 'em. History does allow us to see trends, patterns; and allows us to know. We dont have to even rhyme. The west will pull up, most likely because insightful writers don't equivocate. The reader says: "Yikes, wait a minute!" and is forced to think, since he isn't supplied an out. A significant population of these people are out there, pseudonymously or not, carrying the spirit of this culture with them and reinforcing it.

Delighted to hear from you. I thought your analyses of candidate Obama during the campaign were stunning, and forwarded them to many friends. I’m happy to see your talent recognized by First Things. All the best.

Finished “Philosophical Fragments” this morning, Racehorse. Clicking on all the “next” at the bottom of each page...I realize there is a whole lot of very good reading material there. Thanks again for the links.

Another BTTT for the thread!
