A couple of bitter, lonely, increasingly irrelevant dinosaur media types apparently would like to hear from freepers. second link follows. Freep away (unless you don't want to increase their hit count)

my bad on headline. CT cartoonist, columnist need freepback
yeah, that is a pretty incomprehensible headline; you might want to get a Mod to change it for you, or just start a new thread.
Tea Partyers, Bag Your Pekoe-Terrorist Ways
Colin McEnroe | To Wit
April 19, 2009
I didn’t go to any of the tea parties last Wednesday, mainly because I have plenty of tea and don’t consider it to be unduly taxed. I’m having a nice cup of Mighty Leaf Orange Dulce right now as I write this; and even though I think Mighty Leaf does charge too much we are living in the Golden Age of Tea, when you can get almost any kind you want, including teas of high quality at reasonable prices.
One of the poorest political cartoons I’ve seen.
The men of boston would have been surprised at how quickly the 2009 RAT Present/House/Senate are taking our freedom away.
They would be shocked what ACORN has done and is getting rewarded for doing.
They would be doubly shocked that the 2010 census will be run out of the WH by a bunch of political community organizers.
They would be even more shocked that we are talking about disarming our citizens and getting rid of our nuclear weapons.
The men of Boston would be astounded we didn't do something sooner.
As for kettlehead, what should we call the author?
What a load of crap. This guy totally misses the symbolism of both tea partys of 1771 and 2009. I would have left a comment but there was nowhere to post.
What a idiot...Um, no there were quite a few of us that were able to think for ourselves and did not vote for Obama, and what exactly has he cleaned up from Bush? All I have seen is really bad cabinet choices, some pretty boring and scripted speaches, and other countries laughing at us.
my contribution....
yeh- it was phony....
I mean, dissent is ONLY patriotic when an American flag is burned, US soldiers are hung in effigy, signs exorting American soldiers to kill their superior officers are carried, fires are set in the middle of the street and cops are almost beaten to death as is usually the case at liberal or “peace” protests....
my bad- the only phony’s are the criminally negligent liberal media who applauded while people carried signs of George Bush in the image of hitler yet are now hostile to hard working Americans like myself who took to the street Wednesday to protest the insane spending happening in DC...what was I thinking???
Dissent is only patriotic when you diessent in the same tonque of the leftists in this nation....
let’s see if they post it....
He’ll be snickering out the other side of his throat when Islamofascists ~completely~ take over the US.
bump for later
I dont think it was for tea or taxes. I am mad that we had a TRILLION dollar bill jammed down our throat in 24 hours, that no one had read, and it was not debated at all.
This kind of trick (and it was a trick, on us) is unbecoming. If it cant pass a simple debate then we dont need it.
That is the message I hoped came a across.
One can only think the man truly thought it was all about tea. Still looking for one rational and penetrating sentence in the whole article. But just so very cute isn’t it? This is what passes for journalism now days.
All the punditocracy is claiming that we didn’t care about Republican overspending, but they have apparently forgotten their own coverage of Tea Party ‘07, where Ron Paul broke all records for a one-day online fundraising total to the tune of $6.6 million on December 16, the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party.
Thank you! I thought I was the only one who couldn’t make it through the whole article without getting dizzy. As you said, sadly, this is what passes for journalism.
It is a prerequisite to be a criminal otherwise you can not be part of Obama’s administration. Tax cheats are the most popular in his cabinet. That's what the sheeple voted for.
