You talk about not being able to see past your nose! This administration still reminds me of a fifth grader that comes up with an idea and his teacher ( the nation ) tells him how smart he is.

The funny thing is that the press called Bush stupid. But stupid is as stupid does and though Bush did some stupid things in 8 years, Obama commits more acts of mental retardation a day than Bush did in 2 full terms.

...is clashing with efforts to protect the tiny pupfish and desert tortoise...I would like someone to ask these morons what the planet would look like if every species had been "saved" since time began.
I wonder if any of them would have ability to survive the thousands of raptors and predators that would be walking the earth?

I love it when idiotic liberal special interests fight against each other.

I am not a scholar, just a High School graduate and I wasnt in the top of my class there, but I seem to remember a law of physics, that said, Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Has the Obma administration changed that law?

Too funny! There’s some real intellectual prowess in DC lately, what with all of the walking into walls instead of using doors and the falling over each others’ tongues as they probe the ground looking for a salt lick.

Perhaps that’s why we haven’t been using it on a large scale.
These people think they can just mandate everything when if it made sense and was cost effective it would already be in place!

If they think solar power plants will use too much water, wait till they start discussing the logistics of making mass quantities of hydrogen...not to mention the water needed for the nuclear plant next door to make electricity to make the hydrogen. There goes the neighborhood.

I too have been worried silly about the electric blue pup. I love pups and hate that they are going to be harmed.
Oh, it’s a fish? Never mind!

At least the company (BrightSource Energy) seems to be a real company with a track record, which is more than can be said about most of these solar companies and projects. However, 5 square acres for the production of 400MW is pretty wasteful and will only be successful in areas of the country where there are huge tracks of land that are otherwise unproductive.
Do they really believe the envirowacks are going to let this happen. LOL

They need to put those Solar plants up here on the north coast where the water flows out to sea and the sun rarely shines. It get up to a sweltering 61 degrees today...
