WOW! You surely do “remember, with advantages, what feats he did that day..”

The Tea Parties were just the start, like Harfleur. Next, on to D.C.!

“Once more into the breech dear friends once more, or close the wall up with our English dead!” - “In peace there’s nothing so becomes a man As modest stillness and humility: But when the blast of war blows in our ears, Then imitate the action of the tiger; Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, Disguise fair nature with hard-favour’d rage; Then lend the eye a terrible aspect; Let pry through the portage of the head Like the brass cannon; let the brow o’erwhelm it As fearfully as doth a galled rock O’erhang and jutty his confounded base, Swill’d with the wild and wasteful ocean. Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide, Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit To his full height. On, on, you noblest English. Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof! Fathers that, like so many Alexanders, Have in these parts from morn till even fought And sheathed their swords for lack of argument: Dishonour not your mothers; now attest That those whom you call’d fathers did beget you. Be copy now to men of grosser blood, And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman, Whose limbs were made in England, show us here The mettle of your pasture; let us swear That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not; For there is none of you so mean and base, That hath not noble lustre in your eyes. I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips, Straining upon the start. The game’s afoot: Follow your spirit, and upon this charge Cry ‘God for Harry, England, and Saint George!’ “

We are now up to 658 events, in EVERY state, and can document no less than 701,000 and as many as 812,000 patriots took part protesting Washington D.C.'s tax and spend scheme.

You can check to see if your tea party is listed HERE, if not, post a comment on this thread citing the city, state and headcount.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Re the Santa Rosa, CA tea party: According to our local rag, Santa Rosa police officials estimated the crowd at 450 to 500 people, which is higher than the total you have listed here. I personally believe the higher total is probably closer to reality, since I got there an hour late and at that time there appeared to be 250 or 300 people, and several people told me that an hour earlier, when things got started, there had been more people. Link to story.

Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

Exodus 12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

ALL 50 STATES HOLD TEA PARTY PROTEST! Over 600,000 attend!

Interesting timing.

I scanned the list three times and I didn’t see my town listed. According to the local news paper Henderson, Kentucky had 100 people turn out on a cloudy chilly day.

You can add this to your totals.

Thanks,

Not as many people showed up at the tea party in Slidell Wednesday afternoon. Held in Heritage Park, the protest drew about 200 people who brought signs protesting the stimulus plan, high taxes and what a lot of people called an erosion of the Constitution.

I’m still compiling some reports from around the state. I talked to one fellow who had been down at the Hot Spring event and he said they’d had 350-400 people demonstrating at the courthouse there. Breanne writes in from Russellville that 300 people attended the Tea Party event there.

Texarkana, Texas (or Arkansas) - 500

Congressman Ralph Hall (R-Texas) was the main speaker, and the Gazette put the crowd at 500.
