No, No it shouldn't.
There's an effort to take the next rally to D.C. Good idea. But in the last 24 hours I've seen "announcements" that it will be on July 4th, September 12th or October 6th from three different groups. These groups need to get their acts together.
BUT, July 4th on the Mall in D.C. is a madhouse. The Tea Party would be completely overshadowed by the Independence Day celebrations.
What’s the goal - the tangible outcome we want? How will we know we’ve achieved that outcome? Is the goal to get media attention? If so, what does that get us?

July 4th is NOT a good choice, in fact it is probley the very worst choice one could meke.
So let this date stay for what it stands for.
Not July 4. July 14. In Washington. Tumbrel carts and the other device optional.
We MUST go to School Board meetings; find out how much is spent on unfunded mandates and tell them to stop. We MUST keep the pressure on - form a group of 10 people whose mission is to flood Congress critters email and their phone system. We MUST write letters to the editor.
Keep the July 4th celebration at home. This is a time when politicians at every level love to show themselves off. MAKE THEIR DAY A LIVING HELL. Have signs ready: “Read the Bill”, “Reading is good for you”, “Make your teachers proud, read out loud”. Oinks when they pass, tea bags held high. Show them the same respect that they show us.
Admiral Yamamoto said after Pearl Harbor, “I fear that all we have done is awaken a sleeping tiger, and filled him with a great resolve.”. Well, the dukes and princesses have done it again.
The next march should be for the firing of Janet Nappy. While there are many pluses associated w/her firing, it will instill a fear to other politicians - you target us, your next.
