"The FBI has informed us that this ship is a crime scene," NO, it was a TERRORIST ATTACK!
We are back to coddling terrorists.

It is not the US Navy it is Obama and his shocking cowardice and weakness that has made this whole situation linger much more than it should and has greatly emboldened our other more dangerous enemies.

I just thought it was a funny statement....Obama and the leftists appeasement policies are what is slowing things down....

Clinton did this with the World Trade Center bombing of 93 as a result of the investigation from only the FBI we couldnt pin the attack on any country.
What that did was not allow any future investigation to legally proceed into pinning those attacks on the Iraqi government, Taliban or any other governmental organization at the time..
In my opinion the police action of 93 rather then a national security investigation allowed the culprits to attack again on 9/11.

As far as I was aware, the FBI only legal authority within the borders of the US, so I don’t see any point in involving them.
If Obama really intends to arrest the pirates I can see some stupid judge freeing them on a technicality and giving them asylum. Then the pirates could import all their distant relatives, legally of course, and set up shop here in the US.
Brilliant.
To: skully
This is not going well. The bleeding hearts will want to try them in a court and put them in prison where we will pay more money for their upkeep.
Pirates have NO RIGHTS. You hang them, period.
Rope or wire it doent make any difference as long as they wind up dead.
This is piracy at sea. The captain of the ship is the law. It is his right to hang them.

So I take it that Afghanistan and Pakistan are now considered “crime scenes” as well...

Of course it is not the knuckle draggers that prevented any fix to the problem. It was Zero's team. Heaven knows how much this FBI investigation will cost leading nowhere. Do they really think somehow they will capture the pirates and bring them to a US court for trial. Morons. Assuming Zero's people may somehow have an element of real concern here. But most likely as most of us would surmise they simply carry on the roles Yimmaty and BJ followed.

I wouldn't be surprised if the USAG doesn't charge the Navy SEALs with murder. Now that that they've freed Capt. Phillips.
So what we might have is B. Hissein and company charging Americans with felonies on the high seas.
Let's see,
Obstructing the fair practice of Piracy on the High Sea.
Physical assault in the face of a kidnapping by pirates.
Finally murdering Pirates in the pursuit of their just rewards.
