Something should have been done in the first few hours. Something should have been done before the terrorist had a chance to get comfy in the situation and thus gain power. It should never have had the chance to lead to money talks.

I strongly believe that physical action should take place and that's before the Captain is moved.

Well, just get the captain out of the situation and then leave the entire mess to all the other countries that they’ve been “supporting” for several years now... :-)
