You can bet our military is not just watching.

The US Military is the greatest armed force in the world. However, Obama IS now the Commander-in-Chief and ultimately calls the shots...so to speak.

Tell the pirates they are in no position to bargain. They only have a limited supply of food and water. They should think about getting out of this with their lives and there is no purpose in making this a suicide mission.

If they give up without killing the captain, they will be treated humanely and any amount of justice is better than losing their lives.

There is no reason to put a price tag on the captain's life when it is their lives they have to consider. For one thing, even if they do get their money, how do they think they will get away with that money in the middle of the ocean?

If they kill the captain, they will have committed suicide.
