Statesman see that as loyal support to an ally, while US stance against Serbia over Kosovo is seen as a trechery against Serbs, old allies of US. Also full support over carving of new muslim statelets on Balkans by US foreign policy looks reaaaaaly baaad....

Again, For smaller nations, Russia looks more stabile ally.
