Frankly I think Obie is scared sh*tless by now. Lets face it, up until now the toughest decision he has had to make is "paper or plastic". Plus those daily threat briefing are telling him that Al Queda hates him as much as they did Bush. That is why his team blamed a nonexistent sandstorm on his failure to visit the IZ.

Look for more travels, more diversions, from Obie. He will do everything he can to escape from his new reality.

I think this is a good discussion between Rush and Joe.

I think Joes main bugaboo is that if you enter into and agreement with an employer and the employer miscalculates his costs(IE pension), he shouldn’t be able to screw you out of what he agreed to pay you for a lifetime of work.

Let him take the hit he agreed to the terms.

To me its like the CEO Bank bonuses. Those deals were made and those CEO’s did their part, then the Gubmint screws them out of their pay. that is not fair business.
