TEHRAN, April 9 (Reuters) - Iran is now running 7,000 uranium enrichment centrifuges, a senior official said on Thursday, an announcement likely to increase Western concerns about the Islamic Republic’s disputed nuclear plans.
Gholamreza Aghazadeh, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation, also said it had obtained the technology to produce more “accurate” centrifuges, which are used to enrich uranium.
Referring to the inauguration of a nuclear fuel production plant by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad earlier on Thursday, he said in a televised speech: “Today we praise ... the accomplishment of the last stage of the nuclear fuel cycle.”

Doesn’t it seem like no one’s going to do anything about it, not even Israel? I know it’s all building to an unsustainable level. We can only do so much buying off and appeasing these thugs and looking the other way while major nations strengthen the enemies of “Freedom” (Ease and Comfort). It’s going to come to a head but I think the nations of the world will try to put it off on future generations as long as they can.
In other words. Iran will get nukes and it’ll make life better for the ruling class and worse for the people and the US Federal government will continue to be marginalized. There will be a great big war and we’ll either retreat to our shores or invite more international despots to rule over us.
And this Seder dinner that he is having reminds me of the Japanese diplomats in Washington when Pearl Harbor was bombed.
Nothing to worry about. The Iranians just want to “go green” and not use fossil fuel.
