THOSE OLD Republican hot buttons are growing cold. For proof, check out a recent interview with Mitt Romney, a former presidential candidate and ex-governor of Massachusetts.
According to TheHill.com, a congressional newspaper that publishes when Congress is in session, "Romney believes that one way to attract more minorities to the GOP is to pass immigration reform before the next election, saying the issue becomes demagogued by both parties on the campaign trail." The article also quotes Romney as saying, "We have a natural affinity with Hispanic-American voters, Asian-American voters."
This could be extreme political repositioning, even for Romney.
. . . . .
How Romney gets beyond the flip-flop-flips of his multiple-choice positions on immigration and other issues is a mystery only he can solve.

“I dont appreciate being called dishonest when I politely told you that I consider religion a personal matter and did not wish to discuss it. Please respect my wishes.”
But you are totally, absolutely, glaringly, dishonest. I am only asking does the Catholic church accept Mormons as Christian? It is a simple yes or no answer. Here is the Catholic churches answer again.

Again, I dont appreciate being called “dishonest” when I politely told you that I consider religion a “personal” matter and did not wish to discuss it. Please respect my wishes. Ask me anything else, but don’t ask me about religion.
Can you see and read these two images?
Again, please respect my wishes.
Religion is a very personal matter to me and, therefore, I do not wish to discuss it. Feel free to ask me anything else.
Stop being disrespectful to me, please.
Just answer me this, can you see and read those two images in post 323. Even you should be able to force out a yes.
Oh, yes I see that image. I’m Polish Catholic just like the late, great Pope John Paul II. God, I miss that wonderful man. God bless him.
Thank you, I hope in the future that you will not try and give the impression that your personal views on Mormonism being Christian are anything but in direct contradiction with Pope John Paul II and the Catholic faith.
Thank you for what?
What faith are you?
I have been trying for almost a year and a half to get you to stop pretending that you as a Catholic were giving the truthful answer to that question, now hopefully you will just give your opinion as an individual and not represent it as the "Catholic" view.
It has been a long journey, thank you for finally giving me a straight answer. The slippery evasiveness and dishonesty in the determined avoidance of that simple answer were disturbing.
What faith are you?
Your argument is with the Catholic church and Pope John II, not me.

Excellent. He gives me hope for the future of conservatism.
I did no such thing. All I did was acknowledge that I saw Pope John Paul II's name. I told you that I did not wish to discuss religion.
Now, stop playing games.
Unless you want to have an honest discussion, get lost.

Cute. Anything else.
I knew you were stringing me along.
Now, unless you want to have an honest discussion, and I tried to have one with you, GET LOST.
Go play games with someone else, not me.
I was not stringing you along, I was trying to break through that wall of dishonesty you have surrounded your self with.
For you to discover that you are at odds with the Catholic faith and the Popes is a major breakthrough.
I think that now if you continue to preface your false claims on Christianity and Mormonism by pointing out that you speak as a Catholic, that you will at least be a little more self conscious about it, if you have enough integrity then you may state your view as purely personal and leave out the Catholic part entirely.
