Establish a naviagation corridor that only registered ships can sail through and is off limits to all non-registered craft. Call it a “free fire zone”. Blow everything else that moves in this zone out of the water. It could be done with the simple use of coded transponders and a few
E-3s or P-3s.
When will Obama apologize to the pirates?
Only the Vegas bookies know the answer to that, they are always right.
That the new Administration is concerned, will surely cause the pirates to release the crew and make restitution immediately....fearing strong reprisal measures such as USA air drops of I-Pods with Obama’s past speeches and photos of his wife making ugly faces.
You think he’ll order an attack on the pirates? Sure it’s possible, I just don’t hold it very likely. Someone else predicted a ransom would be paid through Denmark (Maersk is Danish) as an attack could risk hostage casualties. Unfortunately, I see that as more likely.
To start the negotiations - the State Dept will send Hillary with a Reset button......
Whats is interesting is that the ship was sending relief supplies to Kenya, I am sure there was some interesting family phone calls this morning to the Whitehouse.
Will Obama only get expedient because this is directly affecting Kenya and not about rescuing Americans?
What is more important to him, where is his loyalty?
if obama had his way, that would constitute our entire response to this crisis.
Something else is going on, listen for any reports that the crew has tossed the pirates overboard, on another thread its being reported that CBS is breaking news about this, not verified though.
Fox is reporting that the crew has regained control of the ship!
Obama is in tears...
Puppet Master must have made a phone call to the Pirates and odumba does not have to write a strongly worded letter.
I like it.
However public pressure will eventually mount to the point that even Obama will be forced to act, most likely in the form of payoffs via the tax payers -- again.
