WASHINGTON -- Cyberspies have penetrated the U.S. electrical grid and left behind software programs that could be used to disrupt the system, according to current and former national-security officials.
The spies came from China, Russia and other countries, these officials said, and were believed to be on a mission to navigate the U.S. electrical system and its controls. The intruders haven't sought to damage the power grid or other key infrastructure, but officials warned they could try during a crisis or war.

When I saw this thread, and saw who the spies were, my first thought was they will have to be fast to disrupt the grid before Obama and his handlers start to do it in order to control the masses and their foolish ideas of freedom...and that pesky Constitution thingie.
We have a light airy system conducive to efficiency - - the opposite of "secure".
I can say Hurricane Andrew too. WEEKS! It’s not that hard. Night vision, lanterns, oil lamps, generators that work on propane and the moon will give good light at night for about 10 days. Plan ahead. Sit in the dark for 2 hours one night. No power. By the end of that time, trust me, you will know exactly what you need for your shopping list the next day.
Groups like Blackwater train to do things in the dark and they also train others. The average little lib weenie or ACORN member wouldn’t know whether to sh*t or go blind.
