"It was settled, if you truly believe everything was on the up-and-up at the polling places, which it wasn’t. Besides ACORN, et al., involved in intimidation and cheating, etc., the media filtered the truth from voters."

I am NOT for Obama, and I fully agree with you.

However, it's one thing to protest DC policies, but another to personally attack a president who has been in office less that three months. The latter makes us sound like "sore losers" from the election and that impression negates what we are trying to do.

This is about Congressional policies that are bleeding us dry. Obama can't do anything that Congress doesn't let him do. Congress is "the weak link" who is fair to attack -- and members of Congress are the most likely to "break" ranks in response to protests to save their political skin, especially when these protests hit in their District or close to it. Obama has four years to worry about us -- all the members of Congress don't -- many of them will be up for election sooner than that, and each one knows that they are politically expendable.

This isn't about "who deserves our scorn". This is about a strategy for being most effective with the protest, IMHO.

"...makes us sound like "sore losers"..."

I disagree!

We should not be afraid to be critical of Obama. It is that type of weakness-based strategy that lets the impression of him being reasonable live on.

The only reason many folks still wrongfully believe that he is a decent guy who is just trying to do what's right in a bipartisan way is because we failed to convince a voting majority that he actually is the product of his radical left upbringing and his anti-American associations.

Sure, liberal congressfolk and senators have proposed most of this horrible agenda in various forms in the past. But this current socialist economic plan, this ramrodding of every expensive liberal idea from the past, this skyrocketing of national debt, these attempts to re-inflate the housing and credit bubbles, these arrogant claims of high-ground by the appointer of tax cheats and lobbyists, these takeovers of industry, these constant attacks on freedom and capitalism and these proposals to raise all kinds of taxes are all OBAMA's doing!!!

This great nation of ours would not be allowing this disintegration of our national heritage if not for the fact that the media and weak kneed Republicans have allowed this phony persona of benevolence to continue. We have allowed this teleprompter with a tie to take advantage of the combination of honeymoon politics and rally-during-a-crisis sentiment to accomplish things that would never be allowed by a more informed populous and a less sheepish opposition.

Don't worry, it's not racist or "mean spirited" to oppose socialism in general nor the socialist in chief.

1. I see no problem with criticizing a president who has been in office less than three months. He did more to destroy America in his first two months than any multiple of former presidents combined. His policies are DC’s policies and they’re following his lead.

2. Re “sore losers”, none of my signs would mention his illegitimacy in the position because that sounds like the Bush-hater crowd for eight years. So, even though his presidency is illegitimate on many levels, I’d never put it on a sign.

I think it’s cool (even “far out, man”) if people want to wear flowers in their hair and sing “Kum-Ba-Ya”, but that’s not me. We should celebrate diversity. ;-)
