Crunch Buttsteak is a reference from MST3K’s “Space Mutiny”;
in fact Mike and the bots would refer to the Cessna as “Petey The Plane” and probably ask if the pilot was Coleman Francis.

Sounds like someone else has corrected the deficiencies in my knowledge.

I like MST3K but don't get to see it very often -- I don't own the remote at hone.

I do get to see *lots* of "Man Vs. Wild" and "Mythbusters", however ;-)
