The enemy learned something important tonight.

We won't shoot first.

"We won't shoot first.

Good point. I'm not so sure we'd even shoot at all, now.

That’s right. The entire world has been laughing at us since this joker took office.

No, they learned that the other day when North Korea tested their ICBM missile.

The enemy learned something important tonight. We won't shoot first. Don't be so dramatic. Our boys intercepted him early, and you severely over-estimate the threat that a 1700lb C172 with a 130mph top speed represents. Hell, at 14000ft, it would have taken him several minutes just to descend to threaten anything- plenty of time for either of the Falcon Jockeys to pump our a few hundred vulcan cannon rounds if necessary. Considering the political fallout of a civilian-aircraft shoot-down, I think you underestimate the wisdom of the restraint used in this situation.

Good thing, too. This isn’t the Soviet Union.

This incident ended without shooting, so why would you be so demanding that it should have? Should speeding tickets result in shooting the driver? Where do you want the tyrannical violence to stop, only with you?

I am sure if the plane had strayed towards a high value target it would not have mde it but just to shoot it down is pure thuggery of Communism.

If this A/C showed itself on a course towards a large gathering of people, or towards a potential target , you can bet your bippy that it would have been shot down.

We just do not have haired trigger fingers like some banana republics do, that is "YET" anyway.

The next one, if it comes , will be shot down by the Canadians.
