Newt also pointed out that the beginning of the end of the Jimmy Carter hold on the White House was when he was the commencement speaker at Notre Dame during his first year in office. Guess the speaker-pickers at Notre Dame may have missed the ironic opportunity to repeat history here ...
Or wait, maybe it's all part of the diabolical Jesuit plan to discredit Barack Obama. If his teleprompter cuts out during the speech, the liberal media will be looking for a grassy knoll somewhere in South Bend.
well, Fox sucks with Chris Wallace sittin in the capt’n’s
chair..........worthless as shoes on a fish
The media cowed the republicans into staying silent rather than defending President Bush.
The msm had an agenda and nothing was going to stand it it’s way.
” Hey,passing gas in public is ahrd to hide”
..impossible in pantie hose
LOL.
A True patriot! Tears, you are so right, I haven’t heard a thing. (I could have missed it though)
RIP Sir.
In the United States, there are many black people who believe that Egypt was a black civilization, not Arab or semitic. They have made up a fake African holiday called Kwanzaa.
Obama campaigned for a radical leftist in Kenya during the last election, the same guy whose supporters went around burning people in their homes and such.
I have no doubt that Kenyans aren't anit-British. A half-Kenyan raised on stories of how his people were oppressed by colonial rule might very well be.
Sadly, Jack Welch, on CNN, gave pino an A for leadership on the trip.
Is this the same Jack Welch who ran GE, which got govt bailout money, and whose news shows are all LOVE pino all the time?
Susan Rice: We are very concerned...we are in constant consultation with...we are partnering with...something of grave concern...we will look at a full range of options.
No real answers, though.
She has been told to smile from time to time, however inappropriate the moment and has had a makeover to soften her look.
Morning AB and thanks for the thread as usual, looks like it may cool off here a bit in a few days.
I’ve moved past believing anything the Democrats or press or media say anymore. I’ll watch what they do instead.
That is the correct approach.
And if Steffie's program could not sink into more irrelevance, he has Arianna Huffington on the panel along with David Frump.
George Will served a useful purpose this morning by punching a big fat hole in Susan Rice’s “community of nations.”
I just saw a short clip of that speech on CNN.
My jaw dropped when I heard him say, once again, about how wonderful it is that America has elected a man like him, with his last name.
The crowd went crazy.
THAT is a campaign speech, and has NO place at meetings that are set to discuss very important topics that are endangering our very existence.
It STILL has to be all about him, needing his ego stroked.
She actually told the truth about Zero's European romp of kissing and hugging queens and not hugging the ones who actually do want to be hugged!
Ol' Chatty Katty actually did admit that Ozero got nothin' for the US other than requests for a million autographs. He got 5,000 UN troops for Afghanistan only for a short stay, he got nuttin from the Chinese on propping up the soon to be worthless buck and little if anything from anyone else except acknowledgment of what rubes and still community organizers these Chicago mobster fools actually are.
Other than than it was great trip!!
Cedric, they didn’t appear anywhere...not their web pages, not in their home newspapers, not on local TV, not when cameras were rolling, not even their constituents.....trust me, they were so busy trying to be reelected that they lost it all. Not to mention their leadership was inadequate and ineffective. They let the dems walk all over them.
They were very good about defending the president on the war and foreign policy, tax cuts, and the Plame investigation. They were not as supportive on the bailout last fall.
However, these 3 were rarely on the talk shows. I think Pence appeared a few times, but I can't remember Buyer EVER appearing, and Burton very seldom. Pence and Burton's appearances usually were when they disagreed with Bush about spending.
There is a reason we don't see any Republican senators who could make a good case, and certainly not many who supported Bush. For example, we never see Senator Inhofe or Senator Sessions on the shows, do we? Nope, it's always McCain, Lugar, etc.
The Sunday talk shows control who is on. Unless you watch C-SPAN 24/7, you never know that many of these people put out press releases, hold press conferences, and grant interviews, because they never make it to television, even Fox.
I do fault the RNC for not making commercials to support the President. And After 2006 many of the remaining House and Senate GOP ran for cover. Still, I think it is very hard to get air time and do anything, especially when the media has closed ranks and has their message set.
I still say the best thing Mitt Romney could do for our country is to put together a group to buy one of the networks.
Obama is goin for the one world grab and he damn well knows he has 4 years to get her done
..if 2010’s election is not successful for conservatives ,it’s over...
Obama is playin the 51 % world card and so far it’s workin
on a side note.........sure is was crass of Michelle to touch the Queen, but Michelle feedin Camilla carrots was priceless
