“Fox Discovers Samir Khan’s Magazine”

SNIPPET: “We started getting a number of hits earlier today from people searching for Samir Khan’s magazine “Jihad Recollections”. Odd given that the magazine was published in early April. But I guess Sammy is always good for a few hits as a surprising number of Americans are shocked each and every time a jihadist living amongst us is exposed — even if it’s the same jihadi over and over again.

The hits can be explained by this Fox article which has some good analysis of the magazine from Steve Emerson and Jarret Brachman. It also has this odd comment:

It is not clear what connection, if any, the magazine has to Al Qaeda or its followers. It is published by the “Al Fursan Media Foundation,” but FOX News could not find such an organization or a way to contact them for comment.
Hey Fox, call me. I have contact info if you want it.

And, yes, al Fursan is a real organization. However, it is a virtual organization.”

Ignored Puzzle Pieces Takes Next Step…

This morning, American jihadist website, Ignored Puzzle Pieces of Knowledge, posted an old video of a guy who armored a bulldozer and went wreaking havoc in a small town. He destroyed buildings, cars and basically anything in his way.

Here’s how the admin (presumably Sammy) captioned this video:

“This guy caused over $7 million in damage in a small town. Imagine if he were to do something like this in NYC?”

Now, work with me here. We’ve got an American-made website that is dedicated to praising al-Qaida and espousing its ideology now posting: “imagine if he were to do something like this in NYC…”

That’s not just some rhetorical afterthought - it’s AGENDA-SETTING. It’s a direct call for someone to consider applying this lesson themselves. It’s an appeal for someone to commit an act of terrorism in New York City masked in an off-hand observation.

See, the boyz over at Ignored/Al-Fursan have kicked the radical can a few more steps down the road lately - they’re no longer content being couch-jihtatoes (new one). They want action. They’re feeling their oats now with the success of Jihad Recollections. Extremism is like a drug - it takes incresaingly more of it to feel the effects each time.

They realize that they have developed a small following of like-minded individuals who look to them for advice and counsel - American jihadists are sloppy, lazy and disconnected so they need handholding. This website offers that outstretched hand - it is precisely what Abu Musab al-Suri called for (and we know that Sammy knows al-Suri).

This is not good news for America - But I’ll keep ringing the bell about how nefarious these guys are along with Dr. Rusty at Jawa and others…

Oh, and here’s the video that they’re using as a terrorism case-study.
