Specifically, Abu Abdullah as-Sayf was upset with the way in which I discussed him in the posting, suggesting I had personally attacked him, had no in-depth knowledge of the Salafist ideology, and held a double-standard in who I called a “terrorist.”
I would like to first thank Abu Abdullah for taking the time to respond. I would also like to thank Rusty for passing this to me. To begin, here are Abu Abdullah’s unedited comments to me via Jawa:”

A few days ago I wrote a post that was critical of one author featured in Samir Khan’s latest magazine, Jihad Recollections. The author, Abu Abdullah as-Sayf (an American university student by day, jihadi fashion designer by night), took offense with my comments and responded. I then published both his full-text comments and my response to him, which attacked him for the ideological move he advanced in his article with regard to expanding the conceptualization of Tawheed to four categories over the conventionally accepted three within Salafism.

I have chosen not to respond to this post (although a colleague might guest post a reaction to this exchange - stay tuned for that), not because I’m deterred by his “highly suggest”ing that I “leave it here,” or because he implied that I cannot speak intelligently to the topic without being a Salafist Muslim.

Once we understand the code of the Matrix (Jihadi world), the rest is straightforward. But we must learn to read Matrix (Jihadi) before we can transcend it and blow Agent Smith (Abu Yahya al-Libi) up from the inside-out. We need more Neos.
But, as a colleague of mine reminded me, it’s not all about this relgious-ideological mumbo-jumbo like ABu Abdullah as-Sayf’s responses suggests (Thanks for keeping me honest). For a lot of these guys, they dont even realize that they’re plugged into the Matrix. That’s why we’ve got to go direct to the Architecht and shut down the mainframe (obliterate the High-Command and eviscerate the ideological Agents and sentinels).

Second, with regard to why I’m paying so much attention to you. Yes, I dismiss you on the one hand as being pathetic. But on the other hand, the fact is that you espouse a hateful, subversive ideology that stands against everything on which this country is founded. Your support for the tenets of the global jihadist ideology and your active participation in al-Fursan Media, to me, is the equivalent of treason. Can you answer “no” to any of the following questions?”

While surfing Samir Khan’s website (Ignored Puzzle Pieces of Knowledge), I noticed a comment by our buddy, Abu Abdullah as-Sayf, on a story regarding the release of Maulana Abdul Aziz (brother of Abd al-Rashid Ghazi). Abu Abdullah as-Sayf’s comment:

So….we learn that Abu Abdullah’s Arabic is crap. Good, that means that he’s American, doesnt speak Arabic and is a hardline Jihadi-Salafi. We also know that he’s got graphics design skills (from his t-shirt postings) and too much time on his hands.
We know that he only joined the Islamic Awakening forum on26 February 2009, at least under this screenname. We know from his posts that he likes Anjem Chowdery, Abu Hamza al-Masri (both Brit-based, English-speaking, fire-breathing jihadis).
Finally, we learn that he is affiliated with a new website: Sawt as-Sahwah (The Voice of an Awakening). Hmmm… Let’s dig a bit deeper. On 7 March 2009, Abu Abdullah as-Sayf posted an announcement for the founding of this new jihadist site. In it (announcement-sahwah), he declares the site’s mission:
“This blessed awakening, who’s banners are carried by youth outcasted by society, and in many cases, family, will continue to march forward, until the religion of Allah is established and the pleasure of Allah is attained.”

He also spends a lot of time giving the predictable jihadi talking points about oppression, global conspiracies, apathetic Muslims, vanguard, awakening, blah blah… gotcha. Let’s just go to his website and see what this is all about:
So, the first thing I like to do is see what you’re “About Us” page says. It reads:
It has become clear that only two camps exist today–the camp of Islam and the camp of Kufr. So, he’s an American jihadi web-designer and amateur graphics designer who is a self-proclaimed outcast, believes in the core al-Qaida doctrine of violent Jihad, Takfir and Al-Wala’a wal Bara’a. He hates ‘moderate Muslims,’ and is furious the the ’sugar-coated’ version of Islam that “poses no threat to the U.S. or U.K.,” - meaning, he wants to pose a threat to the US and UK.
Oh, just to cover his butt, clever ol’ Abu Abdullah added this dislaimer:”

A New Pro Al-Qaeda Magazine for Extremists is Offering Fitness Tips to Jihadists
A new pro al-Qaeda magazine for extremists is offering fitness tips to jihadists planning attacks against Americans in countries such as Afghanistan.
The first edition out this month offers workout tips to get buff with the aim “to train as hard as possible in order to damage the enemies of Allah as much as possible.”
The English language e-zine, Jihad Recollections, is about 70 pages long and is thought to be produced by an American living in North Carolina. It claims to have articles written by Osama bin Laden and his second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri.
Pull-ups, walking on your hands and crawling long distances are just some of the suggested exercises that come along with illustrations of white-robed men with scarves covering their faces&perhaps not the most comfortable of work-out clothing.
Ashleigh Prince, a fitness instructor at Virgin Active gyms in London, told ABC News.com that he wouldn’t recommend exercising in loose-fitting clothing. “This just isn’t very practical and I would advise against it as it could get caught, causing injury.”
Readers are advised to avoid weights during training because they aren’t available on the front line. They are also told to stay away from the gym because of the “un-Islamic” music and the presence of “semi-naked women,” and to carry on even if they feel exhausted “for Allah’s sake.”
As well as cardio training, such as jogging, readers are also urged to strengthen their legs as they will need to “carry weapons and equipment.”
The article explains the importance of being swift on your feet “especially during raids on the enemy” and cites examples of successful attacks where speed was essential.

Ok, so, I’m still buried in work but it’s on. I’ve got a bevvy of self-styled jihadi propagandists coming at me - I guess, like caged animals, when you poke them with a stick in sensitive spots, they have to yap and growl.
First, remember that Abu Abdullah as-Sayf, (our jihadi tshirt designer and contributor to Samir Khan’s journal from southern Florida) came at me with esoteric arguments about why the fourth dimension of Tawheed was theologically justified within Salafism, my new friend takes a more hilarious approach.

Often, I would advise brothers, especially those youth as myself, not to spend too much time dwelling Jihadee forums and reading through endless threads. Recently though, I came upon a Non-Muslim who does just that! And apparently, it’s his “thing”. This is none other then Jarret Brachman. Originally, we wanted to make a post pointing out the retarded comments he has thus far made, but we realized that there are bigger fish to fry and this kaafir is not worth our time. Our apparent “idle hands” (as stay-at-home-daddy called them) must sometimes wash of the twinkies’ crumbs (note: sarcasm Jarret…sarcasm) and work on much bigger things which will soon slap Brachman and all his colleagues in the face. Our website does not aim to be a mere blog with daily articles or videos, but rather the actual voice of an actual global awakening which insha Allah will take the form of a revolution in the hearts, minds, and land of the people. Little does arm-chair patriotic warrior Jarret know that Sawt as-Sahwah is not just a website, but an organization functioining in 3 different countries actively, and growing fast OFF the small internet world he lives in. We hope that by the time we achieve our objective (Nasr), Mr. Brachman would have found a job (or not) and we can all live happily ever after (note; not together Jarret … not together).
