I.D. has an allure, since it bridges some difficult philosophical divides. But is has no place in science since it can’t be applied nor used.

Just keep ID in its philosophical, theological realm and all is OK. It is when people try to put it into science that there are problems.

So, anything other than absolute belief in random evolution has no place? That makes you more of a fanatical religious nut than me.

I’m still wondering why apes stopped evolving as soon as humanity took off. It’s been 4 million years. Shouldn’t we have some half-ape species out there?

Only to those who seem to have a psychological aversion to the concept. If fact it is rejecting anything that doesn't fit the TTOE scheme that would hinder progress.
