When I look back on all the hateful press done while Iraqis waited in line (that first election), with bombs, threats, etc., it really pisses me off.
I remember how we partied after following them to the cup and the whole world (not an exaggeration), celebrated with them, as well as Iraqis all over the world. To think of the tortures Saddam’s son put upon the soccer players (but to the media, of course the sanctions made them lose).
