Biden and Hilary and Obama aren't even up to washing the uniforms of the Detroit Lions. Can we at least make them tackling dummies?
To: Sherman Logan
Bull. Lincoln had military experience - something Zero can only dream of.

(It is good to be right.)

Lincoln himself was (appropriately) dismissive of his “military experience.” It consisted of considerably less than 90 days militia service, in which he saw no action.

It is worse than that. Obama is weak but those who surround him are not. He is, this minute, being tugged in various directions by the likes of Pelosi, Reid, Clinton rehashes, Hillary Clinton and so on. If he has a clear agenda, I did not see it in his champagne and certainly not now. He will fail time and again as he tries to please the Congress while annoying the Senate and simultaneously causing ripples in his inner circles - on it will go.
It will be as if the economy is a big forest fire in the background and he is at a podium running his "gifted" mouth about putting out the fire. No one will not hear a word he says because they see the forest fire devouring everything while the bottom scroll of the screen states another week of double digit unemployment.
BTW, the big difference between Lincoln and Obama is character (am I a racist now?)

As much as I respect Thomas Sowell, and it is a lot, I have to say he is going for the fake. While he and others talk about these rookie mistakes and all, Obama has effectively seized personal control of the auto industry, and de facto the banking industry, and the energy industry is next.
Our democratic republican form of government is being subverted and dismantled in a silent leftwing coup d'etat, and no one is willing to say it out loud.
The infrastructure of 220+ years of hard-won freedom and human rights is being desecrated and destroyed and no one seems to be outraged by this.
We have an alien tin horn dictator in the making who would do the latin banana republics proud, yet no one seems to question why this man is still in the White House and not in the dock. Or headed for prison, maximum security..
To: Kaslin
“Rookie” is kind. He’s the Affirmative Action president.

"We can lose some very big games with this rookie."Great analogy. Too bad it isn't really football. Obama will unnecessarily lose many American lives.

FWIW - it is a much more complicated world than the world of Lincoln, which much more facile communications and much more room for trickery on all sides.

Obama's first call was to Hamas. I did hear this one at the time. It boggles the mind, gives pause to wonder. Rookie mistake or advice from his dream team advisors? Hamas? His first call? Not one of our staunch allies? I hope it was a rookie move.
