Hubby just bought a used 2008 E-class diesel here http://www.ecarone.com/ love the car BTW
He got a great price on it. We live in Dallas but they do ship.
BumP!
I'm not an automotive engineer, but the problem with diesel I believe had something to do with sulfur content. Where the US manufactures gave up on diesel because of the "environmental lobby", the Europeans worked tirelessly to develop a "clean diesel" technology.
Now, because the Europeans own all the patents, the US manufactures have to license some or most of this technology from them.
The same can be said for the nuclear industry. If we ever decided to build another nuclear power plant, we may have to rely on a foreign company to do it because we've lost the skill in the US (no new nuclear plants since Three Mile Island).
Thank you, you have given me some great information....now I understand the why’s and what for’s......
You can get a fully warranteed two-three year old C-300 with 4-matic from dealers for under thirty around here. The Certified warranty is 100k miles or six years from date of original sale. That’s a deal.
Wow that is an great deal !!!!!!!
We live in a “Gold Coast” town where image is far too important for far too many people. They lease Benz’ BMWs, Audi’s, Lexus’ and Infinitis for never longer than 39 months then upgrade to a new lease. Because of that, local dealers always have low-mileage, well maintained three year old cars to move. Guys like me pick them up for the cost of a Camry and drive them for five years.
Love it !!!!
Great cars at great prices !!!!
Welcome to democracy. Goodbye republic and all the liberties that go with it.
That explains a lot. What will happen to their on-drugs talent, though?
Now would be a good time for Ford to hire Wagner.
