15 years ago I had the pleasure of giving Specter a dead fish handshake and the evil eye when he rudely interrupted a conversation I was having at a political event.
He was not the only big name pol there, and I detested him even back then.
This was even before he became “Scottish Law” Specter.
Personally I think he’s mentally disturbed, maybe not insane but very close to it. Certainly he’s a monumental and shameless liar.

I do not think a single republican turned democrat has ever disguted me more than that rat Specter. I would rather a democrat be in his ploace than him the turn-coat soul selling scum!
Both Dodd and Spector fancy themselves as heavy hitters so I suspect the title might have read, “Too Old Have Bulls Hitters in Trouble”.
If ever there was a need to prove the necessity for term limits, surely these two (and others too numerous to mention) would be it. Just paste their faces on the ad and ask: who in their right minds would give these two more than 12 years to impose their idiocy on their fellow Americans?
