Ah yes, the liberal mantra:
“Not in my neighborhood”
Surely you could find room in Death Valley????
the best place to put solar cells for collection purposes is the desert...
So did she offer up any alternatives? (aside from the kinetic energy of her flapping gums)
I wonder which developer friend is eye-balling the land.
Hypocrits.
Rules only apply to the serfs. Meanwhile, we’ll stay in our gated communities and let the world burn.
This is Obvious.....Greenies are NOT SERIOUS about alternative Energy.
They want to Stop OIL production.
They want to stop Green Alternatives in the BEST LOCATIONS.
no more . . . we can’t be fooled again.
OK, let me get this straight. First, the DhimmiRats want to put the entire coastline off limits to drilling for new supplies of oil. They want to lock up vast tracts of land all over the US to keep it from being drilled for new supplies of oil. And, now they are starting on the ideal locations around the US for deployment of solar and wind technologies?
OK...I believe it. They ARE in OPEC’s back pocket.
It’s time to take back the country.
The sunniest of all areas, excluded from solar power stations? LOL.
Only problem is, there are plants and animals in the desert, and a whole desert ecology that needs that sunlight too. Oh, and the little fact that with existing technologies and efficiencies, we’d have to cover a fairly high percentage of Utah or Nevada with solar cells to make a dent in national energy usage. It isn’t just a few square miles here and there, it is more like a county at a time being covered. Also, some people happen to like and enjoy the desert southwest. (me being one of them)
No drilling, no solar, no wind.
Yup, we are going to “save” our way to energy independance
Plus, the desert wind is stronger in Nevada because California sucks so hard.
I would be looking at Feinstein’s husband and his ties to OPEC. :)
Better to have oil wells 20 miles out than the desert covered with unsightly wind turbines and solar farms. I’m with Feinstein on this one. I’d rather conserve than have the desert spoiled.
Finally, a good use for some of these lands but NOOOOOOOOOOO
I swear, these people just want the country to die. After all is said and done, that’s the only logical conclusion. It isn’t this one particular conflict but after ALL this wailing and gnashing the teeth about “saving the planet”, ask these folks to make their own sacrifices and the answer is always “no”.
Environmentalists are beneath contempt.
