Mitt "the Myth" Romney lied to the public running as a Republican.
Mitt than ruled imperially (the preObama?) as a liberal.
This proves Mitt Romney is a liar and cannot ever be trusted by the GOP.
Here is the more corroboratory proof.
1) So why did Romney not help the GOP candidate against Sen Kerry,
who was helped by out-of-state Sen Thompson?
2) Why did Romney only speak up for the GOP candidate after him
only the day after she lost?
3) And why did Romney never let her (a woman) on the stage with him?
4,5,6,7,8,9,10) And how do you explain the endless reports of backstabbing (see #13 above)? No way that helped the GOP, did it.
11) How about his coverup of the BIGdig for campaign contributions? How did that help the GOP?
12) How did his appointing liberal murder-freeing judges help the GOP?
"Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans,
has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced,
instead tapping registered Democrats or independents -- including two gay lawyers who
have supported expanded same-sex rights, a Globe review of the nominations has found.
Of the 36 people Romney named to be judges or clerk magistrates, 23 are either registered Democrats
or unenrolled voters who have made multiple contributions to Democratic politicians
or who voted in Democratic primaries, state and local records show.
In all, he has nominated nine registered Republicans, 13 unenrolled voters,
and 14 registered Democrats."

Romney Rewards one of the State's Leading Anti-Marriage Attorneys by Making him a Judge
Romney told the U.S. Senate on June 22, 2004, that the "real threat to the States is not the
constitutional amendment process, in which the states participate,
but activist judges who disregard the law and redefine marriage . . ."
Romney sounds tough but yet he had no qualms advancing the legal career of one
of the leading anti-marriage attorneys. He nominated Stephen Abany to a District Court.
Abany has been a key player in the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association which,
in its own words, is "dedicated to ensuring that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision
on marriage equality is upheld, and that any anti-gay amendment or legislation is defeated."

supported by this.....
"Romney announces he won't fill judicial vacancies before term ends
Despite his rhetoric about judicial activism, Romney announced that
he won't fill all the remaining vacancies during his term - but instead
leave them for his liberal Democrat successor!
Governor Mitt Romney pledged yesterday not to make a flurry of lame-duck
judicial appointments in the final days of his administration . . . David Yas,
editor of Lawyers Weekly, said Romney is "bucking tradition" by resisting the urge to
fill all remaining judgeships. "It is a tradition for governors to use that power to appoint judges
aggressively in the waning moments of their administration," Yas said.
He added that Romney has been criticized for failing to make judicial appointments.
"The legal community has consistently criticized him for not filling open seats quickly enough
and being a little too painstaking in the process and being dismissive of the input of the
Judicial Nominating Commission," Yas said.

13) Why would BOTH Boston newspapers report that Romney killed the GOP?
The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006
"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,
[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."

Here are your answers: ............. [sound of crickets]
There is an ongoing debate on this thread as to whether or not one Mitt Romney is in fact a RINO Based on the facts: (A) He pandered to the Log Cabin Republicans (B)Compromise on 2nd amendment rights for his own political gain I would say he's a RINO |

The Dude is a full throttle liberal as far as I’m concerned. I wouldn’t vote for him if he ran for local dog catcher.
The comments about McCain here are interesting....but keep in mind, he couldn’t run on his own. So look to the R leadership and consider them in the same light you consider McCain. If the RNC brought him to the party as the candidate to support, they are no better. They have successfully killed true conservative candidate campaigns over the years. Those that seem conservative that they supported were supported because they believed the candidate was able to be manuevered and manipulated to do their bidding...displaying a point of weakness, or hiding something in their closet that the RNC knew about to hold over them. The party leadership, not just the candidate, cannot be trusted or believed and needs replacing....but then what? You still have RINOs in the party at other levels who will try to influence toward the Left. They aren’t even standing on party planks any more as can be seen in McCain. Perhaps it is time to simply put the trash in the trash bin and begin anew. AIP is clearly conservative in every sense. If you choose to buy into the third party won’t work view...remember it was the RINOs that fed that buzzard to keep their party members in line, in fear, and following them.
Was? They still are. The GOP is a flat dead joke.
Yes... there is no difference in mitt’s politics and those of kennedy.

I can promise you this: in less than 4 years, we will both be in agreement that Palin isn't fit to be president.
I will never agree with anything you believe in.

“McCain’s record supporting conservative judges in the senate is solid, and remember he voted against Obama stimulus.”
But he voted for the Bush stimulus, and that started his decline in the polls.
I am not fat, do not have diabetes and I work 6 days a week.
Good for you. I never said otherwise.
Did anyone here get the impression that I like McCain? Let me make it more clear: Of the two bad choices, McCain would've been the less damaging choice.
McCain voted for the Bush stimulus but opposed Obama's larger, monstrous stimulus package. That is evidence that McCain wouldn't have gone Obama's route. On the other hand, Obama has no significant opposition. He has the votes in the House and in the Senate to pass whatever he wants, even if McCain opposes to it.
Hope this explains it.
Good one, FMDJ!
Cake is delicious.
Thanks for the correction! ::grin::
More promise of Romney-led dirty tricks, Romney-led GOP-backstabbing,
and Romney-led internecine attacks, all directed indirectly and secretly from TeamROMNEY.
Not really a surprise there, is there?
FLASHBACK: If TeamROMNEY did NOT use "dirty tricks, GOP-backstabbing,
and internecine attacks", directed by Mitt Romney himself,
then TeamROMNEY's personal choice of Obama would not be in office.

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"
Similar to Romney's other scortched earth tactics:

Do you have similar emotional theories about black helicopters?
More importantly, did you find the camera that Team Romney asked me to install in your TV?
