Unfortunately it is called justice. How about God letting King David's son perish to atone for the murder of Urriah the Hittite? It is an Eye for Eye and a Tooth for a Tooth when people fail to embrace grace.
I believe this was allowed to happen to give him an appreciation of the life of children. One way God disciplines us is through the pain of loss. This is a colossal eye opener. I pray he sees the truth and rejects the evil he has been perpetrating

Funny how some people are assuming this was an act of God and not of Satan.
The Old Testament God of revenge disappeared when Jesus gave his life as our atonement. You calling these heart-wrenching deaths "justice" is ignorant and makes this unbelievable tragedy even sadder.
