The scientific method is the best tool yet devised to discover how the universe works. I make no claim that science can understand everything and anything in the universe, but if there's anything better than science for such investigations I have yet to see it.

Agreed. I've know many Christians who acknowledged the reality of evolution, cosmology, etc.
