WHERE do you have evidence that Ronald Reagan believed the Federal government should have MORE power in individuals’ lives, as opposed to decisions being left to the states?

You need to read back through the thread. We were talking about SPECIFIC areas (drugs, abortion, etc.) that Reagan certainly felt the federal government had a role in.

I understand that libertarians WANT certain powers returned to the states and in most cases I am in full agreement. However, the FACT is that many of these powers are currently in the federal purview, so it makes far more sense for libertarians to acknowledge this and work on getting them back.
