> Not dense in the head. Is that your implication?
You were asked nicely to let the speculation drop by a fellow FReeper of some long standing. You didn’t. That qualifies you for “Dense in the Head” in my books.
As for being Flame Proof, FReepers don’t tend to throw flames at each other — it’s impolite. But when we do it is a gory sight marvellous to behold, the stuff of Legend.
> Do YOU care when you mow down a killer?
I think that might depend entirely upon who the killer was — if it was a brother officer, for example, I would certainly care. And no, I am not a cop.
And if I were to “mow down a killer” I would almost certainly have some Shooter’s Remorse, and would almost certainly require some therapy. Which is exactly what police departments around the world do when they have to “mow down a killer.”
Anybody who didn’t care about “mowing down a killer” would qualify for being a sociopath, unfit to serve in any capacity.
Then you can`t pass simple training...I was asked, I am also a fellow FReeper. You can`t be warm and fuzzy in THE MOMENT. Taking a life is also like saving one.
There are a number of former military in this forum who suffered no remorse for killing.....and would take offense at your condemnation..
My only remorse is that we lost too damned many good men and we didn't kill enough of the enemy to save the millions who were later murdered by the communists throughout SE Asia or who drowned trying to escape....
