Orlando is hardly South Florida. Central Florida, excepting Orange County, Orlando, is relatively conservative. The crowd was polite, yet raucous. What a great time.
My apologies about placing Orlando in South Florida but as a Panhandle Floridian, anything under Tallahassee is considered south. : ) Considering McCain/Palin won my county by 73% and Obama/Biden won Orange County by 59%, from my point on the map, you all down there had a magnificent showing in what we up here consider a liberal region. You are absolutely right, of course, about your area when compared to what’s generally considered South Florida. Again, congratulations on all the hard work in Central Florida!
