I didn’t know they HAD that many folks in Wind Gap. When you drive by it looks pretty unpopulated!
HF is nasty stuff.
HF. VERY nasty, soaks through the skin and dissolves the bones. Worse, it scavenges calcium from the nerves so you don’t even feel a burn until it’s far too late.
How near Abington is this? I have close relatives there.
Yeek. Definitely nasty stuff. Pray for the Hazmat workers.
HF is scary. Someone I new worked with HF for a short time. He had to be treated once for a HF exposure. I believe they injected large quantities of a neutralizer into the affected area. He was a tuff guy, a logger in the past. He refused to work with the stuff after that.
Murtha’s septic tank?
Shelter is at Pen Argyl High School.
Lots of fire & EMS from all over, & lots of volunteers (America at its best).
Saw state rep Dalley there (Republican).
As of now, they haven’t righted the truck yet, so it may be a while.
That’s horrible stuff. I used to have to work with it occasionally in laboratories and always wore full hazmat gear. You can get some on your skin, hardly feel it, and wake up in the morning and find the bones under the skin dissolved away.
