I signed on to sign this petition and signed OFF. Why? It is March, 2009 and an AMERICAN citizen has suddenly realized that he is AFRAID to put his signature on a citizen’s petition. In the United States of America.
In the past couple of days, I’ve seen Murtha’s compatriots call for “violence” against Americans who merely obeyed the law, a law recently passed by Congress.
I’ve seen everything this country ONCE stood for denigrated and villified by the CHOSEN leaders.
I’ve read of a President who thought that WOUNDED WARRIORS should be required to pay for their own medical treatment. Yes, he backed down, but the fact that the thought even entered what passes for his mind is horrifying.
I’ve watched and listened as ELECTED officials ignore their personal culpability in causing today’s problems as they DEMAND AS THEIR RIGHT to take charge of the curing.
Yes, I admit...I’m afraid...very afraid.
God help the United States of America.

CaptainAmiigaf; If you are a citizen of the “United States” it’s ok to be scared. However, I feel it is both your and my duty to stand strong. It is all about, “We the people.” It is our country and therefore ours to lose. We must not ever let that happen, FIGHT. Speak your mind, its one of your rights. Become involved with like minded people. Put your trust in God, believe by faith that he will fight the battles. And as George Washington said, “I would rather die on my feet than on my knees.” Educate yourself to the wiles of the enemy and be prepared, WE WILL WIN!

I almost didn’t sign until I read your post.
Heh, I can understand what you’re feeling. My hubby was Googling himself in preparation for his new career, and saw info about the two patents he has, but there were at least 6 other mentions, because of the anti-human Global Warming Petition which he signed, along with 30,000 other scientists. He’s a PhD Statistician. There have been several articles in the past week which are disdainful of those who signed the petition, saying they must have been duped or something. Um. No. He and the others just don’t believe the AGW hype from the climate calamity crowd.
