The Nation Unites Against Obama
Human Events ^ | 3-20-09 | Gary Bauer

Barack Obama has already set numerous records during his young presidency. Not the least of them is the number of promises he’s broken. It’s a development that was entirely foreseeable given candidate Obama’s soaring rhetoric, which ranged from the implausible to the absurd.

Consider earmarking. In the first presidential debate, Obama said, “…we need earmark reform. And when I'm president, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely.” He sure sounded earnest, but conservatives remained skeptical. And for good reason. President Obama recently signed a spending bill with 9,000 earmarks, prompting criticism from just about everyone, even the New York Times, which reported that Obama signed the bill “despite campaign promises to put an end to the practice.”

Then there were candidate Obama’s constant pledges to end the culture war. But in his first few weeks in office, Obama has ensured that all Americans will be forced to pay for abortions at home and abroad. He has also taken steps to weaken laws affirming the right of health care professionals not to take part in abortions. The culture war has been rekindled.

But those promises were made before the economic crisis. And because Obama fears the economic situation could “quickly turn into a catastrophe,” any broken campaign promises are justified and in some cases mandatory.

President Obama has been handing out billion-dollar bailouts like party favors but finally found a group he felt was undeserving of assistance -- those who have sacrificed more than anyone, our wounded warriors.

There will be no “recovery” until Obozo is out of office!

Not if ACORN and others have anything to do with it.

They are going to have control of the Census.

Unless the voter rolls are purged and everyone re-registers to vote the elections from now on will be a joke.

Back in the early 80s, I attended a speech by the late Arkady Shevchenko, then the highest ranking Soviet official to defect to the West. He had been their top guy at the UN.

He spoke, interestingly, at KENNESAW COLLEGE — and we all know what Kennesaw is famous for! I’m proud to have played a a small role in helping Mayor Darvin Purdy get that legislation through the Kennesaw City Council.

His talk dealt with the clear intent of the leadership of the old Soviet Union to somehow take America. He mentioned their ICBMs and the nuclear blackmail threat they posed.

Then he broke from his prepared remarks and offered the audience this wisdom:

“The leaders of my country are as AFRAID OF YOUR 200 MILLION PRIVATE FIREARMS as they are of your ICBMs. NEVER GIVE UP YOUR GUNS.”

Frankly — and, while he had to be careful as he was under FBI protection at the time, Shevchenko alluded to this in his remarks — I’m as concerned about some domestic tyrant (say, a Hillary, Barack HUSSEIN Obama or Chuck Schumer) as I am about some foreign enemy.

And it is THAT threat about which the Founding Fathers were concerned that prompted them to leave us the Second Amendment.

The BIG question is: WILL WE KEEP IT?

Here's ONE of them!

I’d be willing to bet that – except for gold and silver -- Obama’s key “handler” (Soros) is short every U.S. market and has his “boy” talking the markets down every day.

The Nation Unites Against Obama

Wishful thinking by Mr. Bauer. There's nothing in his article to justify the headline.

“Out of the White House in a landslide......”

Are you forgetting about Bambi’s Census Management by his Beige House and ACORN?

The Wednesday Night Party circuit will get down “like it’s 1999”, beyond 2012. Bet on it.

"And THEY also know that that’s THE line in the sand."

Just this morning I asked the question, "What is the irrevokable line in the sand for the American people?" It should have been the first violation of our Constitutional rights many years ago. We drew a line after September 11, 2001, then allowed our liberties to be erroded under the guise of homeland security and politcal correctness. Now, all of those intrusions into our liberties, and tremendous executive power without congressional oversight, backed by executive order from the former president, have been handed off to a Marxist that promised us on April 2, 2008 that he would build a Civilian Security Force larger than our military (anyone catch the bill that left congress today?), and we are allowing that line to be crossed also.

If you think that the Second Amendment draws the final line, you have more faith in the masses than I do. This nightmare could be put to rest if millions of people would march on Washington in a peaceful, Constitutionally protected protest and demand that these traitors relinquish control of our government. It won't happen for the same reasons that our "hardware" will be taken without much resistance, along with our gardens, water, and liberty.

We need a unifying line that will ignite the passions of the people to overcome tyranny. By the time that troops show up in the streets, it is going to be too late to do anything except capitulate or die, and, if your family is still there after you expire, guess what happens then?

There are some interesting articles posted about atrocities during World War II if you do a search for them. The most horrifying happened in the European theater when (pick one)Russian, Serbs, German, Italians, or some other involved ethnic group, came into a town and found the men folk were hiding in the hills fomenting resistance. We must not allow that to happen here.

My point in the earlier post is that we need to rise up while a peaceful solution can be gained rather than sit on our collective duffs until the situation becomes hopeless. Perhaps our Republic can be perserved peacefully, perhaps not, but we all owe it to our families to make a valiant attempt.

Peaceful, political solution:
Tenth amendment sovereignty declared at the state level.

When the gov’t troops start their raids:
Stay alive, stay free, join up with others who haven’t lost their hardware, organize and resist

Until there’s a substantial protest against the Demwits, peaceably assembled on the Mall, op-eds like this are of little worth, but still nice to see that they exist.

Hardware is not going to be a problem. A marble and a good slingshot will get you what you need when you need it! My point is that we need to consider the last line crossed as “the line” and organize a march on Washington.

The puppet masters are the owners of the private companies that own the Federal Reserve. They have been preparing to destroy the U.S. (and world economy) for decades. The last President who had the guts to try and remove the Fed Reserve Bank with Executive Order 11110 was assasinated. I know I sound like a conspiracy kook - but info/facts are available. Bilderberg is involved too - why was Bill Clinton invited to a Bilderberg meeting in 1991? What had he accomplished to be among the shakers/movers at that meeting. Why was Obama and Hillary invited to a Bilderberg meeting in June 2008 in Chantilly VA and McCain was not?
