No, you don’t get it. Obama ordered cuts in the military spending and the private healthcare was actually suggested by the military because all the other cuts were too devastating to our military defense powers. Obama is just calling for the cuts to be made elsewhere.

Obama’s over arching agenda is to establish socialized medicine, which will change the fabric of the country. He needs lots of money to do this, cap and trade and marginalizing the military are all a part of funding socialized medicine.

You can’t have a strong military and socialized medicine at the same time. Look at Europe.

My theory is that the Teleprompter-in-chief's Spokesvoice was looking to push wounded veterans onto private insurance who wouldn't cover their preexisting conditions. Then in six months he would have enough sob stories about the evil insurance companies refusing to cover our brave wounded veterans, so the only solution is to cover everyone with a nationalized health care system.
