The old man is clearly off his rocker: a Republican to cosponsor bill making possible government sponsored brownshirting and re-education camps - it is simply unthinkable in my view.
Even in the best possible outcome this bill will do nothing else but provide full time jobs for a legion on Dem activists.
I suppose this issue deserves a very serious freeping, I already called his office and let my opinion known.

Most of them are. It just smacks you in the face to know how all of our Congress critters are working on the same side and it isn’t for the American people or America.

I hate to say this, but, I think we need age limits on Senators and Congressional Reps. The Catholic church, I understand, forces retirement on cardinals at, I think, age 75 because they know that the mind gets a bit soft after a while and old guys take up space that new leaders should hold.
Orin, you've been a great foot soldier in the war (especially, judicial nominations) but... this is the last straw. You might want to brush up on your shuffle board skills.

How about delaying the planned 10% increase in the minimum wage this summer so that youths can DO REAL WORK?

Orin (Booby)Hatch is a pencil-necked geek that the Clintons got to during their lengthy rein.
They apparently have photos of him in action.

"It's going to hugely diminish real volunteer organizations in favor of paid-stipend volunteers," Sessions said.Don't even use the term "volunteer" for these government workers. It is just another form of welfare.

Fellowships for people over 55, that should be demanded that every one in congress quit jobs and be forced to join..that would clean out a lot of the dead wood..

Old dogs unable to learn new tricks....
Even worse they are unable to unlearn the old ones. Symbolic feel-good programs full of good-government robots in training and absolutely unjustifiable expenditures have been a part of the lives of Hatch et al for so long they can’t help themselves.
Governance, responsibility and decisions are challenging and dangerous in their minds. Someone might be held accountable.

Anyone running for a 3rd {or greater} consecutive term in the same office should be forced to run as a “Write In” candidate.
Should he/she still win, That Way, his constituents really want Him.
