After two-and-a-half months in hospital, Phebe was alive and neither deaf nor blind, as doctors had predicted she would be. She does, however, still suffer from some significant disabilities, including cerebral palsy, which reportedly require constant care. And these monsters want to kill her for these disabilities.

It would be kinder to shoot the child in the face than to dry the child to death.
These people make me sicker than I can say.
To: wagglebee
If the judge decides that the child was better off dead, his next decision should be the same for the parents.
Evil monsters!

suffer from some significant disabilities, including cerebral palsy, which reportedly require constant care. Don't all babies require constant care?

May these “parents” burn in hell. This really gets my blood boiling.

Don't all babies require constant care? I've never heard of one that didn't.

Dear Lord ...
I’ll take the precious little girl. I’ll take her and love her unconditionally. This absolutely breaks my heart.
What EVIL people.

"I would tell them to come to our house for a week and see what it's like to live with a child like ours," said Mantha. "See the involvement that's needed -- the time and energy in terms of everything involved in our life." Dears Mrs. Mantha,
Please give Phebe to us. We'll take care of her and love her. And, if not to us, please give her to someone who will do the same.

I wish I had never read this story. That poor little baby, trapped in the arms of that harpy.
Sometimes I wish that God would grant me the divine license to smite. There'd be some justice done on this Earth!
But then again, if we all got what was coming to us, we'd all be lost. I guess all any of us can do is to pray for this helpless child and for the salvation of her two monster non-parents.
May God bless all the children of the world.

Maybe they thought it was like a puppy and they could crate it during the day. *ahem*

Phebe is now almost 18 months old and, according to a CTV report, smiles at her parents. If Phebe knew the truth, she wouldn't be smiling at her parents.
"I would tell them to come to our house for a week and see what it's like to live with a child like ours," said Mantha. "See the involvement that's needed -- the time and energy in terms of everything involved in our life."
Selfish bitch.

Was the child taken away from these morons? Hopefully. What a precious little girl. They can put her up for adoption rather than try to murder her.

My thought exactly!
Doesn't she look adorable?
I bet there are a lot of families that would be thrilled to have her!
To: DJ MacWoW
Yes, but only the ones who are loved actually get constant care.

What is also disturbing is the knowledge that if the mother had the DAY BEFORE, decided to abort the baby, thousands of people and dozens of organizations would stand to applaud her courageous and “compassionate” decision.
What is that old song “What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours”!!!
Blessings on the baby.
