To you as well. I started to post the thread in green today, but I forgot! :(
Laughing at Sen. Grassely’s suggestion to AIG. I feel it would be more appropriate for the Senate to take that suggestion rather than the businesses.

"What brand did you get?"
Humana. Did my homework, made by Maytag. Same product as one of their models but $100 less.
Old top loader uses 47 gallons of water per load, new front load uses 12 gallons.
I will be in the Rush and Wash mood this afternoon.

Laughing at Sen. Grasselys suggestion to AIG.
He really stuck his foot in it, didn't he? I guess he wanted to try to outdo Obama in the populist outrage department.
To: Danae
The job is far too tough for PRES'ENT DUH-bama, so now where's the perpetual campaign taking place today?

Wow - that is quite the savings on water. Does it affect how much detergent you use, too?

I’d like to sit down for food, drinks and a cigar with “that old windbag”... and let’s add in VP Cheney, too. That would be a real good way to spend an evening.

Re: AIG bonuses - Chris Dodd hypocrisy.
While the Senate constructed the $787 billion stimulus last month, Dodd unexpectedly added an executive-compensation restriction to the bill. That amendment provides an exception for contractually obligated bonuses agreed on before Feb. 11, 2009, which exempts the very AIG bonuses Dodd and others are seeking to tax. The amendment is in the final version and is law.
Also, Sen. Dodd was AIGs largest single recipient of campaign donations during the 2008 election cycle with $103,100, according to opensecrets.org.
