Specter states that he is NOT switching to the Dem party, because his voice is very important within the Republican party. (try not to barf)
He also goes on to say that without his seat in the Senate, the Dems would have enough votes to run roughshod with anything they want.
I wouldn't be surprised in the near future that Kevin Lynn, one of the interviewers, admits to having a tingle up his leg when he gets to interview Specter. He says in the interview he will become a "Spectercrat".
Me thinks that Senator Sphincter is very worried, being that the election is 20 months away, and he's already campaigning...

“without his seat in the Senate, the Dems would have enough votes to run roughshod”-like they’re not running roughshod with you in that seat.

"He also goes on to say that without his seat in the Senate, the Dems would have enough votes to run roughshod with anything they want." So exactly how can we tell the difference?

We can thank that moron Bush and wishy-washy Santorum for Sphincter's re-election.
They could have supported Toomey, who had a great chance of winning, in the primary....but NOOOOOO they supported their fellow good ole boy.

RE: Kevin Lynn shooting Bob Novak
LTTE, WB/S Times leader, April, ‘08:
On WILK radios (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, 103.1 FM, 910, 930, 1300 AM) morning show with Nancy and Kevin, they were talking prior to the presidential primary election about candidates Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and also conservative columnist Robert Novak, all of whom were visiting Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre that particular day.
This was during the 8 oclock hour of the show. When they mentioned Novaks name, Kevin asked, Will he have a target on him so we know which one to shoot?
With all the college violence recently, the remark was utterly disgusting.
For a supposed professional broadcaster I am amazed he is able to make such a violent statement on the air.
His remarks need to be roundly condemned.

I, for one, am tired of being held hostage by RINOs like Spectre, McCain, Collins, Snowe, et al. I would rather deal with a democrat, than be sold out by someone claiming the Republican cause and campaign dollars. I am not answering the phone from the pubbies until these folks are toast.

Why is he even running again in 2010? He's battling cancer and he's in his late 70s. Seriously, there needs to be a mandatory retirement age in Congress.
And I'd rather have the Dems run roughshod than to have a turncoat who stabs you in the back. Specter has to go, if Toomy doesn't win the GOP primary, he needs to run 3rd party and deny Specter the seat as well.
