Sen. Roland Burris appeared to have a possible unmet fund-raising commitment with then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich's campaign three weeks before landing a controversial appointment to the U.S. Senate, an internal Blagojevich fund-raising document obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times shows.

The list of potential donors, dated Dec. 3, contains an entry targeting Burris for up to $10,000 and indicates Burris intended to "call back with a date," presumably concerning fund-raising.

The Burris entry, which itself is not dated, raises new questions about the former attorney general's claim in a sworn affidavit last month...

"Resign my Senate seat? Hell no. I paid Blago plenty. And Blago's wife
is gonna play 'Butt Bingo' with me. After she gives me one of her 'specials.'"

"All of that is included in the price I paid for the seat."

I think this is a non-issue. The Dems need his vote in the Senate. Nothing will happen.

The Jackson’s are on record to pay 1.5 Million for the seat.

You got to be kidding if you think I'm reading this without a chemical suit!

Besides, these are just a bunch of monkeys in a zoo throwing feces at the visitors.

I have seen this kind of primate act many times before.

ABOLISH THE 17TH AMENDMENT!!!

How DARE voters object to Roland Burris and ask to VOTE him out of office!

Roland Burris was appointed by officials in the STATE GOVERNMENT. You see, this is the way Constitution USED to have all our Senators chosen (OBVIOUSLY the founders were flawless and everything they wrote down in 1789 was perfect as-is). Having corrupt state governments appoint WHOEVER they want for life (and the individual citizens of the state give NO say at all in the matter) say is clearly the way to go. If they don't like it, they can just vote against their local state representative (and for those of you who live in rigged gerrymandered districts where your vote for state representative won't count, too bad. Also if you're in state like Illinois where the party bosses do everything behind closed doors without consulting your local state legislator, and then have them rubber stamp the choice, too bad.) Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and Patrick Henry wanted Roland Burris, since he represents STATES RIGHTS that we lost when states became sub-servant to the federal government. God Bless 'Em. Our Republic would be saved if we could only have 99 more Roland Burris' in government.

Let us be PROUD of our U.S. Senators appointed by state government bureaucrats -- our only link to the good ol' days before our Republic died during the war of northern aggression.

Here's the appointed Senators hall of fame:

Roland Burris
Appointed by impeached RAT Governor of Illinois in sweetheart deal. Was previously defeated by Illinois voters in the last four elections he ran in, so he'll take any job he can get.

Bonnie Neuman
Closet Democrat who was going to be appointed by RAT Governor (when Republican Judd Gregg agreed to serve in Obama's cabinent and resign his Senate seat ) to give Dems a veto proof majority. Unfortunately for the RATs, Gregg soon "changed his mind"

Ted Kaufman
Joe Biden's sock puppet and seat warmer so the Dem field will be "clear" for his son to run in 2010. In the meantime Kaufman gets a nice pension and doesn't have to do anything to gain support from his constiuents.

Michael Bennet
Party hack given the job thanks to he and his wife being early supporters of Barack Obama's presidential bid, being a big time Dem party donor over the years. No prior experience in political office.

Lincoln Chafee
Obama loving "former" cokehead appointed to daddy's job in the Senate after daddy died. Despite being a "Republican" appointee, voted to the left of many Democrats, even Russ Feingold's record was "more conservative" than his.

Frank Lautenberg
Senile "retired" RAT politician appointed by party bosses after the choice that the RAT "voters" elected in the primary was shown to be unelectable in November. Can't risk the chance those pesky New Jersey citizens would elect a Republican, now can we?

Bob Menedez
Ultra-corrupt political boss of Hudson County, appointed as a favor to the party bosses. Likely too corrupt to have ever ran and won in his own right, but managed to pull it off as an imcumbant.

Jean Carnahan
Votes of Missouri "elected" a dead guy to represent them, so she was appointed to the job instead. First vote was to vicously block the appointment of the other Senate candidate that had graciously conceded her questionable "appointment" and congradulated her instead.

Lisa Murkowski
Big time pro-abortion RINO (and then a little known State Senator) appointed by her daddy to his fill own Senate vacancy. Apperently the most qualified for the highest legislative office in the nation, due to her last name.
