I agree with you 100%. I never thought I would live to see it but the cultural divide is too wide and growing. There is such anger on both sides, even in the military. I think it’s either the death of the Republic or a revolution. Scary times for sure. We have become the Sunnis and Shiites. They will always hate each other and always fight. Our country is now divided and both sides have intense hate and anger. It can’t end good.

Bullshit! If we, as a Nation, were so “freedom minded” obama would not be president.
Us that are freedom minded are in the minority and are getting smaller each day.
The people of the United States have become a Nation of “gimmie” to wit: free health care, free housing, free this,free that, free abortions.
The politicans have seen this trend. That is why they promise all these things during their campagins. And as in obama’s case , to name one, those who promise the voters the most freebies usually win.
And in closing, there will be no revolution. Maybe some bitching and griping but no revolution.
