Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton says the Obama administration has turned on Israel in its determination to resolve the Israeli-Arab dispute.
Bolton, now an American Enterprise Institute senior fellow, writes in an opinion column appearing in the New York Post that U.S. pressure to find a solution to the decades-old conflict will be the greatest on Israel, because it is an ally.
"Almost invariably, Israel is the loser -- because Israel is the party most dependent on the United States, most subject to U.S. pressure and most susceptible to the inevitable chorus of received wisdom from Western diplomats, media and the intelligentsia demanding concessions," Bolton writes. "When pressure must be applied to make compromises, it's always easier to pressure the more reasonable side.
"How will diplomatic pressure work to change Hamas or Hezbollah, where even military force has so far failed? If anything, one can predict coming pressure on Israel to acknowledge the legitimacy of these two terrorist groups, and to negotiate with them as equals (albeit perhaps under some artful camouflage).

If you've truly read, and understand your Scriptures, you would know that as a nation, the United States will either
A. Cease to exist as a nation...
or...
B. Join in on a general attack on Israel, by *all* the nations of the world, at the time of Christ's Second Coming...
This is inevitable, it is prophecy, and like all the prophecies, will be fulfilled, as G-d is not a liar. We are already being judged, for our turning our backs upon G-d, as a nation, even though many of us, as individuals, have not. We see the effects of this judgement all around us, every day, in our rapidly deteriorating society.
What I'm trying to say is, that all of what you're seeing, as frightening, and tragic as it is, is the birthing pangs Our Lord spoke of to His disciples. The signs of His return. Do not despair, but lift up your eyes to Heaven from where our salvation shall come. In this trying hour, pray and ask that His will be done...

Yes, John Bolton was an “odd-man-out pick,” by Bush for the UN slot. While Condi Rice did her mischief (and a half.)
However, before the summer of 2006, Condi was actually touted as a GOP nominee for the presidency. And, her stock tanked. Now we have Obama. He doesn’t know the players involved in ruining his reputation. He may decide to recover?
