We’re $1400 away from being debt-free (except the house of course). Dh’s student loan servicer keeps pushing back our due date (now it’s at October). This time last year we owed them $6000. I think they’re getting a little nervous. LOL
Mine did the same thing when I was paying them off last year. It is a computer driven thing, but you will be absolutely thrilled when you call them and hear that same computer say the balance owed is zero dollars. You might panic at first thinking “the one” has changed our currency, but don’t worry, that hasn’t happened yet.
I’m down to $5,700 on my HELOC and should have that done by the official start of summer! I keep walking around singing “Tis the Season” because this IS the season for me!
