Mine did the same thing when I was paying them off last year. It is a computer driven thing, but you will be absolutely thrilled when you call them and hear that same computer say the balance owed is zero dollars. You might panic at first thinking “the one” has changed our currency, but don’t worry, that hasn’t happened yet.
I’m down to $5,700 on my HELOC and should have that done by the official start of summer! I keep walking around singing “Tis the Season” because this IS the season for me!

Not sure when we’ll finish ours up...we’re throwing a couple hundred at it next month, and I figure when the kids get out of school and we have no tuition payments (which adds up to an average of about $525/month), we can ‘git ‘er done’ (as Larry the Cable Guy says, LOL). They’re talking of giving the salaried people at dh’s work a pay cut...so the timing of us getting out debt couldn’t be better.
