They don’t have enough home foreclosures in IL yet. Guess they’re working on the problem.

If they don’t rape the last few taxpayers, how are retiring state workers, legislators and judges supposed to live in luxury in Florida, Costa Rica.... I mean, come on folks, do you expect them to work past age 45? How does that leave enough years for another pension?

Conservative household notes a shortage of money. Action: reduce expenditures.

Liberal household notes a shortage of money. Action: Run for office, get elected, and tax the conservative household.

Here in Michigan, Governor Depressionator is already talking about raiding stimulus money to balance the budget due to a “breathtaking” drop in revenue from tobacco and lottery taxes. We’re talking 200 million under estimates.

Lets see??????If I had a 50% deficit in my family budget does anyone think my employer would give me a 50% salary increase? This is laughable! Has anyone told the Governor to cut spending by 50% during the hard times? These politicians make me sick.

Gibbs will have good news at the Friday White House presser about the un-employed in Illinois.

“And when Quinn the Eskimo gets here, everybody’s gonna want to go”. A friend of mine told me about the taxes in Cook County, which includes not only the City of Chicago but many suburbs. To get money to pay for absolute necessities, the Dem County Exec. (or whatever his title is) decided to once more soak the Republican suburbs in the county and reportedly raised the local sales tax to about 10 percent. You can cross the Cook County border (often the other side of the same street in the ‘burbs’) to suburban DuPage County and pay only 7 percent sales tax for the same items. Obviously, if you have a store on the wrong side of the county line, you’re paying in lost sales, not that this bothers the powers that be.

Currently IL does not tax retirement earnings and 401k distributions. I wonder if that will change?

Meanwhile, the former Cook County Republican chairman gets caught in his kid’s room with two hookers. By his wife. Who beats him with an electric guitar. Did you hear about it?
