Man Allegedly Beats 14-Month-Old Toddler For Showing Disrespect

INDIANAPOLIS — Police say an 18-year-old Indianapolis man severely beat his girlfriend's 14-month-old daughter because the girl failed to show respect.
Tayaun Chism was arrested on preliminary charges of neglect of a dependent and child abuse in the beating of Lilliana Goodman.
Police Sgt. Paul Thompson says Chism is accused of beating the girl with a belt for more than an hour for being disrespectful and not eating her food.

Yeah right - the creep is lying. He beat the child because he’s a mean SOB... nothing more. The mother should be thrown in jail with the creep - for being vile enough to leave a child with “it”.

There's that phrase again! Way too often it's the mohther’s boyfriend beating, abusing, killing, etc. the child.
Certainly should make any grandparent(s) with a daughter that has a child and a boyfriend, especially the live-in kind, be very watchful of the situation. Same for teachers and others who have any reason to be in contact with a ‘family’ such as this.
