I got nothing against Rush giving her the bed; she’s the one that leaves me with a gritty taste in my mouth. It’s the whole thing of calling to get something. I don’t know...I know I’m not making a distinction clearly, but durn it there is one. *L*
I know. She came on with the sweet voice, flattering him up. You know he had to know it too. Hehehe, maybe he ‘should’ have said, “Well, just keep saving your money. It will be well spent.”. Hahaha.
But, Rushie is a sweetie so it reflects better on him than her. The rest of us ‘get’ what she was after. Right? ;)
I sort of agree, I usually don’t like people asking for things when they sound like they don’t need them but then again that is probably why Rush gave her one. Libs would be up in arms the bed wasn’t delivered to a third world country or a terrorist instead to an ugly American.
Sometimes it’s nice to give something out of the goodness of your heart whether they’re poor or not.
Now if she came right out and said could I have a bed then I would say no, don’t do it. She was kind of subtle.
