I heard the Newt statement the same way the last caller heard it. He was saying, in essence, exactly what Rush had said. The part Rush quoted was the second thing Newt said about the kerfuffle, but in the first bite Newt said what Rush said. I think.
:) President Reagan, like all mortal humans, had his flaws, but I do believe he loved his children. I’m sure in his older years (Patty and Prescott’s time) he was way more lenient and thus their liberal snotty attitudes. (only kidding...a little)
