“Demonstrating that not even weekends are safe from Democratic Party-sponsored anti-Rush Limbaugh attacks,” Brian Maloney observed on the Radio Equalizer blog on Saturday, “the talk titan is now under fire for a relatively mundane (and actually quite accurate) reference to the shameless political exploitation of Ted Kennedy's illness.”

Some media outlets readily picked up on the effort to discredit Limbaugh. The AP jumped in Friday, “Democrats blast Limbaugh for comment on Kennedy,” and MSNBC's Chris Matthews played a clip on Hardball as he prompted guest Bob Shrum to smear Limbaugh: “It’s outrageous, it’s typical of him. He’s a tasteless guy. He’ll say anything. He appeals to haters.” Saturday's Boston Globe joined in: “Kennedy cheered at summit; Limbaugh remarks sour to some.”

Limbaugh's supposedly outrageous remark: “Before it's all over, it'll be called the Ted Kennedy Memorial Health Care bill.”

It is a habit and strategy for the left to find champions of their cause that we are not allowed to attack or even argue with:

Get someone with Parkinsons to argue for embryonic stem cell research (even though such research is NOT illegal and is NOT proven, so far, to be anything but a waste of time, money, and human life)

Get a widow from 9-11 to argue for more government funding for this or for that.

It is a pattern.

It is propaganda, mind control, Stalinist, it is ant-American to the core to say we can not argue with someone.

Actually, the Feds subsidize the over 65, Medicare crowd to the tune of over $800.00 per month, on average, for total medical liability.

Now, with their savings blown away, they will crank up the copays and the taxation of SS benefits and the “means testing” stuff.

This is what bothers me the most. We could not afford what was on the books, already, before Obama was elected.

Kennedy is NOT a private citizen, he is in the arena, and trying to make is death “count” for something.

I wondered the same thing? What will the bill be called? The Dems are pi**ed because Limbaugh did predict the name of the bill. Now they will have to come up with another name or give Rush the credit...and we all know that will NEVER happen.
